From Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona, best known for the 2007 Horror The Orphanage, The Impossible is bound to pull a few heartstrings. 

Images from the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami still horrify me, but from the trailer it looks like it’s dealt with beautifully. It’s set for release in Spain in October, then the U.S. in December.
